Custom web development
Management applications, online sales and payments, private portals, intranets and backends for apps and games. Also websites and online shops.
I design, build and maintain web platforms and the infrastructure behind them. From online sales and membership management to the network, the servers and the backups.
Common situations where I can help.
Custom development, built around your business and designed to be found on Google.
A virtual waiting room, caching and servers sized for the peak, not for an ordinary day.
An AI assistant that answers the usual questions from your own information and leaves the important ones to your team.
It needs cleaning, closing the door and finding out how they got in so it does not happen again.
SPF, DKIM, DMARC, reverse DNS, reputation… and getting delisted.
Inventory, monitoring, backups that actually restore and redundancy where it is needed.
Management applications, online sales and payments, private portals, intranets and backends for apps and games. Also websites and online shops.
I connect your website, ERP and accounting with each other and with outside services —payments, shops, the tax agency, the port…— so data flows on its own. Plus custom APIs for your apps.
Consulting and agent development: automated customer service, assistants over your data and agents with human approval.
Linux servers, Proxmox, high-availability networks, clustered databases, verified backups and monitoring. And security: passwords, inventory and network audits.
Cleanup of compromised websites and servers: malware, webshells, spam redirects and Google warnings. Containment, analysis and report.
SPF, DKIM and DMARC done right, blocklist removal and mail servers that deliver.
I'm Oscar Copado, a developer and head of systems with over 25 years of experience. I have built and maintain applications for organisations with thousands of users: online sales, membership management, intranet, customer service, communications and a single account to sign in to everything.
I also run the part nobody sees: the network, the servers, the clustered databases and the backups. Working on both sides is what I bring. Applications are designed for the server they will run on, and the infrastructure is built knowing what it has to withstand.

Before changing anything, I understand how what already works is built.
I explain what I will do, how it can fail and how to undo it. Nothing is applied without your approval.
I will tell you what the risk is and what I have done to reduce it.
A dated change log, technical documentation and PDF user manuals for whoever will use the tool.
Every job lives in a shared task manager, with what is done and what is left.
Never in emails, chats or documents.
Monitoring, maintenance and updates if you need them.
I started building online shops in 2001 and have not stopped since: development, systems, security and now artificial intelligence.
Studied Telecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Self-taught in everything else.
Development for companies, agencies and game studios. From the first jobs —a Magento shop synced with autoscout24 and a WordPress blog that went from over 5 seconds per page to loading instantly— to complete management software for a transport company connected to the port and the accounting system, mobile game backends, healthcare platforms, an ad server and school and training management.
Head of IT. From the official website, online shop and internet radio of the early years to today’s platforms: online sales, memberships, single sign-on, intranet and AI customer service. Plus the network, servers and clustered databases behind it all.
CineLimite, a film site with listings, reviews and user affinity (Yii, PHP and MySQL), plus tuning its server.
Migrated a phpBB forum to vBulletin keeping users and posts, and built an internal management app in JavaScript.
From one server to a fleet: in-house load balancing, migration to Amazon EC2 with autoscaling, incremental backups and PHP and Node.js development.
J2EE project (Java, Hibernate and Struts) for a public-sector body.
Intern at ITACA (intranet integrated with phpBB) and at the IDEAS Institute (custom CMS and server migration from Windows to Linux).
Custom online shops for furniture companies, in PHP and MySQL.
